Through a growing network of volunteer ABLE librarians, Live To Run Again hopes to offer the ABLE program all across North America. Get involved keeping canine enthusiasts awake on the road so we can all Live to Run Again!


What Individuals Can Do

  1. •Become a volunteer ABLE librarian and take the ABLE collection to different dog events you attend. Click for information on Starting ABLE.pdf.


  3. •Help expand an existing ABLE Librarian’s collection by asking family, friends and co-workers to donate audio books. You can give your contribution directly to your area ABLE Librarian or send them to LTRA Home Office where we will distribute the tapes/CDs to various ABLE librarians.

What Clubs Can Do

  1. •Clubs with their own training facility can set up a permanent ABLE collection to be used by their club members and visitors. Click for information on STARTING ABLE.


  3. •Clubs can sponsor an “Audiobook Drive” to benefit ABLE. Have club members collect audio books from the community to donate to ABLE. If you are holding an event, ask participants and spectators to bring an audio book to donate. You can collect the donations to benefit one of your area ABLE Librarian or send them to LTRA Home Office where we will distribute the tapes/CDs to various ABLE librarians.
