What is the LIVE TO RUN AGAIN Campaign?

On the afternoon of April 1, 2001, while returning from a competition, an admired

agility competitor and dog enthusiast died in a tragic auto accident when the

driver of her vehicle fell asleep at the wheel.  Out of this terrible, and preventable,

tragedy emerged the LRA Campaign, which is a volunteer-driven organization

committed to raising awareness of the importance of driving alert and rested.

The Live to Run Again Campaign was founded and launched by Tail Blazers

Agility Club in memory of Jane Callaghy, one of its founding members.  The Campaign

is now a non-profit organization in Pennsylvania dedicated to national public education

about drowsy driving.  LRA is a 501(c)(3) public charity that is tax exempt and

able to receive tax-deductible donations back to August 5, 2002.

Where does the money raised go?

Since this a volunteer based organization every dollar raised is committed to saving

lives through education.  Your contribution and support of the Live to Run Again

campaign helps pay for:

·         Printing and distribution of educational materials about the common

warning signs of drowsy driving and steps to take to prevent a fall-asleep

accident.

bearing the LRA slogan, to keep our message within view of drivers,

reminding them to stay awake in order to “live to run again.”
